Athletic Program
Redeemer Lutheran Church and School offers a championship-winning Athletic Program to students beginning in fourth grade. We are proud that in addition to consistently winning championships during competition, our Athletic Program also helps our students develop teamwork, discipline, social skills and self-esteem through Christ-centered coaching. After graduation, our athletes are not only prepared for high schools sports, but thrive in the rigorous competition that high school sports provide.
RLCS is a member of the Treasure Coast Athletic Conference, which includes schools from Hobe Sound to Vero Beach. Teams participate in interscholastic basketball, cross country, soccer, flag football, and girls volleyball.
All athletes must have a sports physical form on file and each parent must fill out and turn in the Parent Code of Conduct form. A $95 fee is assessed in each sport in which the child participates. The cross-country fee is $75.

Physical Education with Coach Mercado
Coach Mercado’s PE philosophy is “Get Kids moving”. Through a variety of fun games and exercises, our students move the entire PE class and do not realize that they’ve just exercised for an entire class! Coach Mercado covers the gamut of movement from throwing and catching games, to kicking and passing games. The students learn locomotor skills through a variety of tagging and movement games as well. Let’s have some FUN!
