Classroom Guidelines for Middle School

• You will receive one warning before a referral is issued.

• No gum is allowed at ANY time.

• Come prepared for class.  You will not be able to go back to your homeroom to retrieve an assignment and it will be counted late if it is not brought to class at the appropriate time.  (A binder or folder will help you to stay organized.)

• Ten points will be deducted per day for late assignments.  After three days, all late work will automatically be counted as a zero. 

• Borrow with collateral—if you want to borrow something from me, I get to keep something from you until I get my item back.  (Same rule applies with classmates.)

• Write in complete sentences on all writing assignments. 

• Be calm and quiet and keep your hands to yourself in the hall—one warning before a referral is issued.

• Wait to be dismissed from lunch.

• SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING AT ALL TIMES IN ALL PLACES!!
